In this session, we discuss the societal and ethical implications of using AI and put the research paper to the test: What constitutes a valid assessment? What is the impact of AI on assessments and in particular, on research papers as they are widely used throughout various subjects as a proof of academic mastery? Which elements in assessing student learning can we tweak in order to result in more AI-resistent assessment methods?
